Often Clueless, Always Shoeless

Karaoke Pt 12 – It’s Show Time!

December Spotlight Series – Christmas Karaoke Party – Part 12

Hey friends! Welcome to the wrap up post for my December Spotlight Series!! I actually debated how I wanted to write out the actual karaoke party for you guys. Generally, when I do these fun crossover projects, I focus on writing out the prep work, and then just imagine the final performance in my mind (otherwise the ‘story’ essentially becomes an annotated page of lyrics, which gets cumbersome.)

So instead, I’m just going to go through the songs, describe the general concept / costumes, and post a link to the music, and hope that this properly conveys my festive daydreams to you. Enjoy! ^_^

Step Into Christmas

Performed by: Zabby, Denise, Nallain, and Derryl

Costumes: (Imagine little gold holly designs on the green suit. Because apparently those don’t exist in real life. Which I find puzzling.)

The song

And here’s the ASL version (they incorporated a lot of the signs into their dance routine.)

Wooden Soldiers on Parade

Performed by: Ava and Onrey, with a bunch of others as backup

Costumes:

The stage has a bed, where Onrey is sitting. Ava sings the first verse as if telling him a bedtime story, and then Onrey sings it back to her, while all the extra helpers act out the parade in the background.

The Song

The Night Before Christmas

Performed by: Galien, Snowiks, Bethany

Costumes:

The Poem

Oh Holy Night

Emilin accompanying on the flute. (This kind of flute)

The Song

Dominick the Donkey

The Song

White Christmas (The Drifters)

Performed by: Deveron, Jasper, Nallain, Teera

The Song

The Song

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy

Performed by: Ellsie, Teera

Costumes: (except the brown dress is light blue and mildly sparkly)

The Song (Not exaaaactly, because Teera obviously wouldn’t play an electric violin)

The Christmas Can Can

Performed by: Everyone!

Costumes: Whatever they want! (So, a nice mix of neutral sweaters, cute dresses, wild & weird stuff, and Serian miiiight insist on wearing that donkey head… )
